Cordes-sur-Ciel and the Painter
Cordes is a medieval town built on a rocky outcrop and founded in 1222 by the Count of Toulouse. One of the most beautiful residences, the House of the Grand Falconer, houses the donation made by the painter to the Municipality in 1960.

Large-format oil paintings, still lifes (Still Life with Bucranium, 1960) and landscapes, several of which depict Cordes, a large decorative panel The Tournament at Cordes, an Aubusson tapestry The Bullfighter in the Landscape are accompanied by rare lithographs.
In the display cases, various documents allow visitors to follow the journey of this painter who was interested in all pictorial techniques and whose work remains dense and varied.
